Terms of service

Effective July 25, 2026

These terms cover your use of Pikup & Go — the arrival, dismissal-queue, and pickup coordination service used by schools and other institutions, their staff, and the parents and delegates who pick up children. By using Pikup & Go, you're agreeing to these terms.

Who these terms apply to

An institution (a school, daycare, or similar organization) signs up for Pikup & Go and is responsible for its account, its staff's use of the console, and the accuracy of the roster it uploads. Parents and delegates use the parent-facing app under an institution's account, invited by that institution or by another parent.

Accounts

Institutions sign in as admins and invite staff. Parents and delegates sign in with a one-time email link — there's no password to manage. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's how we verify it's you.

Plans, billing & trial

New institutions get a 45-day full-featured trial with no card required. After that:

• Paid plans bill monthly or annually, per the pricing shown at signup; annual billing is discounted versus paying monthly.
• The Free (Micro) tier stays free indefinitely for institutions under its posted student cap — no trial, no card, ever.
• You can cancel a paid plan at any time; your institution keeps access through the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Parents and delegates never pay — Pikup & Go is free for the families using it.

Acceptable use

Pikup & Go exists to coordinate real school pickups. Please don't:

• Upload roster data you're not authorized to hold, or for children you don't have a legitimate institutional relationship with.
• Share your sign-in link or delegate access with someone the family hasn't actually authorized to pick up a child.
• Attempt to access another institution's data, queue, or roster.
• Use the service to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly anything that risks a child's safety or another family's data.

Your data

How we collect, retain, and delete data — especially data about children — is covered in our privacy policy, which is part of these terms.

Service availability

We work to keep Pikup & Go reliably available during school dismissal hours, but the service is provided on a best-effort basis without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Pikup & Go is a coordination tool, not a substitute for staff supervision or an institution's own dismissal procedures — institutions remain responsible for the physical safety of dismissal regardless of whether the app is working as expected.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Pikup & Go is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pikup & Go is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your institution paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and notify institution admins so they can pass relevant changes along to families.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Pikup & Go is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
